This is now a Three Post Blog!

I am merely posting this to ensure my (extensive) readership that this is blog SHALL be continued. It will not go down in history as a two post blog (achieved twice over on that particular blog URL what with post resets and bold statements of returning {this time with commitment, only to re-offend anyway}), although I don't know why anyone would think that was the case.

This post merely sets the record straight.

This is now at LEAST a three post blog, with the ambitious intention of continuing to at LEAST five or even six posts.

So, looking back on the history of this outstanding piece of literature so far, we have the covered the following archetypal blog topics which are essential for an unsuccessful blog:

  • Introduction Post with failed successful attempt at deadpan humour to break the ice.
  • Post talking about how busy the blogger's life is (because obviously everyone else is not), used later as an excuse with regards to the following post.
  • After a substantial gap in time after you lose the -1 to -2 readers you have, post stating your intention to KEEP POSTING even though you really have no evidence that you will do so.

Hopefully the next post will actually look into a substantive topic rather than continuing on the path of procedural blog posts! Not that there's anything wrong with procedural matters of course. To continue with tradition of the posts so far on this blog of making it as gripping to the reader as possible, I'm going to break new ground in my next blog post by going on a rant.

Until then,

Cheerio!

Time Management

Time management has never been one of my specialties.  Recently I have been considering how it would be possible to organise my life such that I could actually do all of the things I want to do.  For instance (in no particular order):

  • University Studies
  • Work
  • Movies
  • Gym
  • Computer Gaming
  • Anime
  • Driving
  • General Internet Trolling Browsing
  • Spending time with friends

Whilst up until this year it seems to have been focused on:

  1. Computer Gaming
  2. University Studies
  3. Anime
  4. Internets
  5. Movies
  6. Gym

My focus seems to have shifted a bit:

  1. University Studies
  2. Anime
  3. Work
  4. Internets
  5. Movies

Things like computer gaming and the gym have just totally dropped off the radar, much to my chagrin. This gets me to thinking, how do people manage to maintain lifestyles where they do everything they want to do?  For instance I haven't really played any computer games in any period that I would have liked, and a lot of games I bought have just been piling up waiting to be played (like Uncharted 2 and Assassin's Creed 2).  Furthermore, work scheduling has become a problem when University becomes more arduous (middle of the semester onwards).

All I seem to be able to take away from this is that I need to sit down at some point and plan out how I want to spend my time, which may result in being able to get more actual things done.

Pre-Introduction

I had intended on making my first post to this blog last week, but I engaged in an activity that I believe is an innate (but obviously not exclusive) skill of students of tertiary education: procrastination.  I therefore did not get around to making my first post until tonight.

I believed that I needed to wait for the perfect day to occur that I could discuss in the contents of this blog that would interest my non-existent audience, but I came to the realisation this evening whilst watching Question Time on the ABC that there is in fact never going to be a day in which this will occur.

So instead, I have decided that this blog will merely contain occurrences of my day that may or (most likely) may not be of any interest whatsoever to anyone other than myself.

This blog shall therefore focus on the following interesting topics:

Fascinating array of topics, indeed.

Originally this post was to be labelled as "Introduction", but I realise that I have done little to introduce either myself or the blog, so clearly that is a matter for another post.  I think I'll settle with a "Pre-Introduction" for today.

With that important clarification out of the way, that shall be all for today.
